A miniature glasshouse landscape inspired by the green spaces on our doorstep.

The Ormeau Pavilion takes its name from the parkland and palms that shape this side of the city, layered moss, textured foliage and living greenery rising within a sculptural tapered glass vessel.

It’s a contained ecosystem that quietly creates its own humidity once settled, meaning minimal watering and low maintenance. Just bright, indirect light and a bit of patience.

As with all living plants, natural variation in tone, leaf shape and growth is to be expected. No two are ever identical.

Good To Know

Not a Diva

Nothing special on this leafy star's rider. Happy just to get on with life and do it's thing, like an old friend just hangin' out.

Pet Friendly

This is a leafy lover for everyone; cats, dogs and kids, even pet goats if that's your thing.

Bright, Indirect Light

Loves being in the spotlight. Thrives on attention. Just not direct sunlight, that’s where it draws the line. We’re glowing, not grilling.

How not to kill your The Ormeau Pavilion

We've created a personalised Grow Guide for your The Ormeau Pavilion. Just follow this easy guide and you & your new leafy mate will be loving life together!

Light: Indirect

I'm pretty flexible, actually. Generally I'd rather be in a bright spot, with plenty of indirect light. But if all you've got is a moderately shady corner, that's no biggie I'll happily adapt with perhaps a bit less watering. Just keep me out of any harsh, direct sun and we'll get on just fine.

Humidity: Normal

Atmospherics? I'm really not that bothered, actually. Just your everyday household humidity is fine. No extra attention required, thanks, so don't be comin' at me with that spritzer!

Watering: Moderate

I'm a Moderate Molly! Not one for necking my drinks and shouting out for more, I'm much more about nursing mine and savouring every last drop. A gentle top-up once a week should be just fine for me, thanks.

🌿 Our Top Tips for Terrariums

  • When in doubt, don’t water. They hate being drowned.
  • Bright, indirect light only. No sunbathing on the windowsill
  • Watch the glass. Light morning mist = perfect. Heavy drips = too wet.
  • Stop fiddling. Let the ecosystem do its thing.
  • Rotate occasionally. Keep growth balanced.
  • Trim if needed. It’s a landscape, not a free-for-all.
