One of the most iconic houseplants, the Fiddle Leaf Fig is loved for its bold, glossy leaves shaped like a fiddle — giving it its name. With its tall, sculptural growth and lush green foliage, it makes a striking statement in any interior.

- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some direct morning sun but avoid harsh midday rays.
- Watering: Keep soil lightly moist, watering when the top 2–3cm feels dry. Avoid overwatering and ensure good drainage.
- Temperature: Prefers 18–26°C. Sensitive to draughts and sudden changes in temperature.
- Humidity: Enjoys average to higher humidity. Mist occasionally in drier rooms.
- Feed: Fertilise every 2–4 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant feed.

Atmospherics? I'm really not that bothered, actually. Just your everyday household humidity is fine. No extra attention required, thanks, so don't be comin' at me with that spritzer!
Light: Indirect
I'm pretty flexible, actually. Generally I'd rather be in a bright spot, with plenty of indirect light. But if all you've got is a moderately shady corner, that's no biggie I'll happily adapt with perhaps a bit less watering. Just keep me out of any harsh, direct sun and we'll get on just fine.
