Spathiphyllum ‘Sensation’ (Giant Peace Lily) 🌿🤍

Big, bold, and built to impress. Sensation is the largest of the Peace Lily family, with broad, ribbed leaves that bring serious presence to any room. It’s everything you love about a Peace Lily — just turned up a notch.

Lush, architectural, and surprisingly easy to care for, this is the one you go for when you want greenery that actually fills a space.

Plant Care
  • Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but will tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid harsh direct sun.
  • Watering: Keep soil lightly moist. It’ll let you know when it’s thirsty — leaves will droop slightly, then perk back up after a drink.
  • Temperature: Prefers 18–26°C. Keep away from cold draughts.
  • Humidity: Enjoys a bit of humidity but adapts well to normal indoor conditions.
  • Feed: Fertilise every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer.
Good to Know
  • Size: Larger than standard Peace Lilies — ideal for filling empty corners.
  • Foliage: Deep green, heavily ribbed leaves with a glossy finish.
  • Flowers: Produces classic white blooms under the right conditions.
  • Air Friendly: Helps improve indoor air quality.
  • Pet Warning: Not pet safe — keep out of reach.
  • Also Known As: Giant Peace Lily
  • Origin: Native to tropical regions of the Americas

Good To Know

Air Purifying

These plants help create a fresher and healthier environment by filtering out airborne toxins, and converting them to oxygen. Bonus!

A Little Bit Diva

This botanical buddy won't just up and die on you if it isn't happy. It'll let you know it needs a bit of fuss and attention, which it will, periodically. Check the care details.

Not for Pets or Kids

Beautiful but with a dark side. The leaves and/or other parts of this plant can be toxic. Keep away from pets, children and adults who never grew up.

How not to kill your Spathiphyllum ‘Sensation’

We've created a personalised Grow Guide for your Spathiphyllum ‘Sensation’. Just follow this easy guide and you & your new leafy mate will be loving life together!

Light: Indirect

I'm pretty flexible, actually. Generally I'd rather be in a bright spot, with plenty of indirect light. But if all you've got is a moderately shady corner, that's no biggie I'll happily adapt with perhaps a bit less watering. Just keep me out of any harsh, direct sun and we'll get on just fine.

Humidity: Normal

Atmospherics? I'm really not that bothered, actually. Just your everyday household humidity is fine. No extra attention required, thanks, so don't be comin' at me with that spritzer!

Watering: Moderate

I'm a Moderate Molly! Not one for necking my drinks and shouting out for more, I'm much more about nursing mine and savouring every last drop. A gentle top-up once a week should be just fine for me, thanks.

Top tips from our Agony Plant.

If it droops, don’t panic, it’s just being dramatic. Give it a good drink and watch it perk back up within hours.
