Carnivorous Plant - Lucky Dip

A surprise with a taste for insects.
Our Carnivorous Plant Lucky Dip is a mixed selection of insect-catching plants, chosen from what's available in store. You won't know exactly which variety is coming until it arrives — that's the fun of it.
Different carnivorous plants have very different care needs, so check the identification and care information supplied with your plant. A Venus flytrap, sundew and tropical pitcher plant cannot all be cared for in exactly the same way.
Plant Care
- Light: Species dependent. Many need very bright light, while some tropical varieties prefer bright filtered light.
- Watering: Species dependent. Many bog-growing carnivorous plants require consistently moist, low-mineral growing media and rainwater or distilled water; tropical pitcher plants may need a different watering routine.
- Temperature: Varies by species. Some temperate species need a winter dormancy period; tropical varieties need warmth.
- Humidity: Varies by species; follow the specific plant's care guidance.
- Feed: Do not use ordinary houseplant fertiliser unless the supplied species-specific instructions explicitly recommend it.
