Citrus Tree 🍊🌿
A versatile plant that can live happily both indoors and outdoors, depending on the season. In summer, your Citrus Tree can be moved outside to soak up the sunshine. Come winter, it needs to be brought indoors or placed in a greenhouse to keep it thriving.
With the right care, this plant produces beautifully fragrant white flowers in winter, followed by vibrant fruit, adding both scent and colour to your space.
Plant Care
- Light: Loves full sun. Place in the brightest spot you have. Outdoors in summer, indoors/greenhouse in winter.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water more frequently in summer, reduce in winter.
- Temperature: Prefers 15–26°C. Protect from frost.
- Humidity: Average household humidity is fine but mist occasionally in drier rooms.
- Feed: Use a citrus fertiliser every 2–3 weeks in spring and summer.

How not to kill your Citrus Tree
We've created a personalised Grow Guide for your Citrus Tree. Just follow this easy guide and you & your new leafy mate will be loving life together!
I'm pretty flexible, actually. Generally I'd rather be in a bright spot, with plenty of indirect light. But if all you've got is a moderately shady corner, that's no biggie I'll happily adapt with perhaps a bit less watering. Just keep me out of any harsh, direct sun and we'll get on just fine.
Watering: Moderate
I'm a Moderate Molly! Not one for necking my drinks and shouting out for more, I'm much more about nursing mine and savouring every last drop. A gentle top-up once a week should be just fine for me, thanks.
Humidity: Normal
Atmospherics? I'm really not that bothered, actually. Just your everyday household humidity is fine. No extra attention required, thanks, so don't be comin' at me with that spritzer!
