Peace Lily Diamond (Spathiphyllum Diamond) 🤍🌿

The Peace Lily Diamond is a beautiful variegated cultivar of the classic Peace Lily, with glossy dark green leaves marked with pale, marbled speckles and streaks. The contrasting foliage gives this familiar houseplant a little extra character, while its elegant white flowers bring the same fresh, calming feel that Peace Lilies are loved for.

From a genus native to tropical regions of the Americas, the Peace Lily Diamond enjoys warm, bright spaces with filtered light. Its striking foliage makes it a lovely choice for adding a little greenery and pattern to bedrooms, living spaces, offices or anywhere that could use a touch of botanical character.

Plant Care

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining its beautiful variegation. It will tolerate lower light, although growth may be slower and flowering less frequent. Avoid harsh direct sunlight.

Watering: Keep the soil lightly moist, allowing the top inch to dry out slightly between waterings. Peace Lilies can be dramatic when thirsty and will often droop when they need a drink.

Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures around 18–24°C and should be protected from cold draughts.

Humidity: Enjoys higher humidity and will appreciate a humid room or being grouped with other plants.

Feed: Use a balanced houseplant fertiliser every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer to support healthy growth.

Good to Know

Variegation: Each plant has its own unique pattern of pale speckles and streaks, so no two plants will look exactly the same.

Toxicity: Mildly toxic if ingested — keep away from pets and children.

Also Known As: Spathiphyllum Diamond, Variegated Peace Lily.

Origin: Tropical Americas (genus origin; cultivar developed in cultivation).

Good To Know

A Little Bit Diva

This botanical buddy won't just up and die on you if it isn't happy. It'll let you know it needs a bit of fuss and attention, which it will, periodically. Check the care details.

Bright, Indirect Light

Loves being in the spotlight. Thrives on attention. Just not direct sunlight, that’s where it draws the line. We’re glowing, not grilling.

Not for Pets or Kids

Beautiful but with a dark side. The leaves and/or other parts of this plant can be toxic. Keep away from pets, children and adults who never grew up.

How not to kill your Diamond Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum)

We've created a personalised Grow Guide for your Diamond Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum). Just follow this easy guide and you & your new leafy mate will be loving life together!

Light: Indirect

I'm pretty flexible, actually. Generally I'd rather be in a bright spot, with plenty of indirect light. But if all you've got is a moderately shady corner, that's no biggie I'll happily adapt with perhaps a bit less watering. Just keep me out of any harsh, direct sun and we'll get on just fine.

Watering: Moderate

I'm a Moderate Molly! Not one for necking my drinks and shouting out for more, I'm much more about nursing mine and savouring every last drop. A gentle top-up once a week should be just fine for me, thanks.

Humidity: High

Ooh, I love a bit of atmosphere! That's why you'd always find me in the bathroom at parties ;-) I think my favourite karaoke song would be 'Spritz Me Baby, One More Time' or maybe 'Come Up and Spritz Me (Make Me Smile)'. I'm sure you get the gist.
