The Chinese Money Plant got a makeover. Pilea ‘Mojito’ has all the round, coin-shaped foliage we love from the classic Pilea, but each leaf is splashed and marbled with fresh shades of green and cream.

Compact, quirky and relatively easy-going, it’s a brilliant little plant for shelves, desks and side tables - and because every new leaf develops its own pattern, no two plants look quite the same.

Plant Care

• Light: Give it plenty of bright, indirect light to help maintain its variegation. Avoid strong direct sunshine, which can scorch the lighter areas.
• Watering: Allow the top few centimetres of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Avoid leaving it sitting in water.
• Temperature: Happiest around 16–24°C. Keep away from cold draughts and sudden temperature changes.
• Humidity: Normal household humidity is absolutely fine.
• Feed: Feed monthly during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertiliser.
