Alocasia gageana šæ
A bold member of the Araceae family, Alocasia gageana is prized for its thick, sturdy stems and dramatic, upward-pointing foliage. Mature plants can produce striking, heart-shaped leaves with undulating edges that reach up to 60cm across, giving this variety an architectural, statement-making presence.
Native to the Kachin Hills of northern Myanmar, this plant brings a true tropical feel indoors and thrives as a feature in larger spaces.

Plant Care
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Protect from harsh direct sun which can scorch the leaves.
- Watering: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water when the top layer of soil starts to dry.
- Temperature: Enjoys warmth ā ideally between 18ā25°C. Avoid cold drafts.
- Humidity: Loves higher humidity levels. Mist regularly or use a pebble tray/humidifier.
- Feed: Apply a balanced fertiliser every 2ā4 weeks during the growing season.
