A quirky trailing variety of Crassula, ‘Hottentot’ grows upright at first, then begins to spill elegantly over the edges of its pot. Its distinctive beaded foliage makes it a great choice for hanging planters or high shelves, and in winter it rewards you with clusters of small, star-shaped flowers.

Plant Care

• Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light but will tolerate some direct sun. Perfect for a sunny windowsill.
• Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Water sparingly in winter when growth slows.
• Temperature: Prefers average room temperatures, ideally 18–24°C. Protect from frost.
• Humidity: Enjoys normal household humidity — no extra misting required.
• Feed: Use a diluted cactus or succulent fertiliser once a month during spring and summer.
